I wish I could take the credit for this one, but alas………. Donna Kuper of Everett, WA wrote to Readers Digest & said that she keeps her soap-filled steel wool pads in the freezer to keep them from rusting. “It only takes a few seconds for it to thaw or it can be run under warm water for immediate use. Freezing the pad keeps it from rusting!”
